Innovation Software Group was founded in 1998 by owner Gary Cuozzo. After discovering the open-source model of software development, Gary was immediately intrigued and convinced that open-source would grow in popularity and change the way software is developed. Over 10 years later, there is no question that open-source has revolutionized the world of software. ISG has remained true to its roots and continues to be one of the area's leading open-source shops.

ISG opened its first office in North Haven, CT right on route 5. A key feature of the small office was a state of the art training room and network designed to allow training programs around open source technology to the public. ISG's training programs were quite successful and well known throughout the northeast.  We pride ourselves on offering the most technically advanced and hands-on training programs.

Always looking to give back to the community, Gary was a founding member of the Southern CT Open Source User Group (http://www.scosug.org ). SCOSUG continues to be a thriving organization within the open source community and with our training room being the primary meeting venue for it.

ISG has continued to grow, along with the open source market. In June 2007, we purchased our office and began a complete renovation and expansion. Our new office has a larger training room and is home to a new data center that will allow us to grow our hosting business. In addition, we have overhauled our training center to a fully modernized 12 seat interactive classroom.

Modern software systems are becoming increasingly complex and integrated.  It's all about the application.  At ISG, we feel that our deep knowledge of software development and architecture is what sets us apart from pure hosting companies.  When it comes to planning, deployment, and ongoing support of applications, you need a hosting partner with the knowledge to solve issues quickly and effectively.
